Maria Fedak was the mother of Sofia and Olga, who became the wives of OUN* leaders Melnyk and Konovalets, respectively. She spent her final years in Luxembourg, where she was originally buried. Her remains have now been exhumed for reburial at Lychakiv Cemetery
