bitcoin will never crash, like TFM says. yes, it is a bubble. yes, it has no intrinsic value. but younger milenials, gen-z, gen-a.. it is "their thing". it's like american dollar. it has absolutely no value and is backed up by absolutely nothing, but the world has mutual understanding that this is what we use, even if it is just a piece of paper that is being printed ad infinitum. the people give it the value. and so it does not have to have intrinsic value to be valuable to people.
@ToyotaTime also we have to consider the fact that most natural resources are owned by foreign companies that i doubt give back too much in taxes and salaries, so it's like the world is stealing everything from africa, not allowing it to move forward. that's it why african nation kicking out the french last year was such a big deal.
@ToyotaTime also, this is about supporting the entire nation, not just a few towns here and there. but obviously not entire africa is like that. it is a huge continent so it varies. but certainly an argument can be made for both sides - suppressing development via foreign aid but also lack of progress overall through the continent.
@ToyotaTime few, yeah. but nothing nation-wide. and mixing in SA is just really bad argument.
Because you still have hope that this war will end with your honor intact. Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls, and ask the ghosts if honor matters. The silence is your answer.
