a local guy, former kinda-celebrity from entertainment industry(music, festivals..), married a cuban girl(model?) ages ago and moved to cuba with her. had one kid with her. by accident i saw today that he got divorced, dunno when, but i saw he very recently married another cuban, 23y, who just birthed their third son. he's 51 now. makes me think, keep the YOUNG girl pregnant as long as possible so she has no time to for stupid ideas. he got it right with the second one as it seems.
for the money, still too many faults.

fucking bottle of ice tea now costs almost 2.5€ with plastic bottle tax. this is ridiculous. the prices are absolutely insane. everything beside the basics is through the roof.
after getting into aliexpress wristwatch brands for couple of years and having now a small collection, beside few pieces of vostok watches, the only watch i will ever spend money on again is accutron and bulova moon watch. watches are so boring to me now that it would have to be somewhat interesting piece for me to want it.
if a country is a company, then the politicians are the c-level managers, government workers are the low level management, citizens/voters are the employees with top management voting rights and the board of directors are the owners whom answer only to themselves. also the employees think they are the owners and think that because they can vote for the c-level management position, they somehow decide how the company is run when in reality BoD makes decisions and management only executes them.
at this point just make the education free, since taxpayers are already paying for it.
lately i am of the impression that life after 50 is a dice roll every single day. seeing people die of this and that, once you start paying attention, makes you stop and think for a bit.

i've learnt only today that the hobbits in LOTR got paid only $250k for all three movies and got zero residuals from merch sales due to no earnings/sales. i think bilbo got 1M after renegotiating and gandalf got paid 12M. if i were them, i would not be going to the comicons. waste of time and money.

replacing paganism, which was polytheism, with christianity, which is monotheism, was most likely done just to control people. it is easier to control people through aggregation rather than having to split your forces to each individual group. in short, every single time people are being aggregated under single umbrella, it is purely for the purpose of controlling them. even countries are essentially that - a group of people controlled by a small clique of powerful rulers.
