some people argue the absolute free speech is as bad as no free speech because dumb idea can spread like wild fire if not controlled. i say that you cannot have a political regime which you cannot freely challenge with ideas, no matter hod dumb they might be. in other words, we should either have an absolute free speech or uniparty totalitarian rule. there is nothing in between. either government has full control or the people have full expressibility.

at some point in history, democratic governments flipped the system in a way where the people are serving them instead of governments serving the people. sooner or later we'll hit a point of reversal that will cause a massive change in our societies and return power back to the people. but it will most likely get bloody.

trump talking about asking china and russia to demilitarize because usa makes the best weapons(i guess he wants to sell american weapons to the world), or to decrease their nuclear arsenal, is peak desperation. the tariffs and trying to bring manufacturing back home is the last hurrah before the empire crashes and burns to a crisp. question is, how much of that fall will he be able to withstand whilst in office and what will fall on the shoulders of his successor. 2030 will be lit.
