This Boomer at the table got all hot and bothered by my Uncle Ted shirt.

I was walking past his table and he said to me "WHAT'S THAT ON YOUR SHIRT?" I smiled and said it's just Uncle Ted. He said "THAT'S YOUR UNCLE?" I replied no it's a figure of speech.. He asked me why the fuck I would be wearing that shirt. I said because it's funny. It says vote by mail. And he said to me "Yeah it's real fuckin' funny to me. My brother was a student at Northwestern when it got bombed. Not so fuckin' funny now is it?"

I said back to him, yeah I don't know man. He seemed pretty correct with a lot of his predictions....

White men are expected to exercise mental restraint even when their hormones are out of control, it's inherently understood, by everyone, that White men are capable of that.

For women and nons there is no such expectation, never was, because it's an unspoken rule is that they are not capable of it.

This is something that needs to hammered on harder since if you can not have the same expectations of people, then it is unreasonable for them to have the same rights and responsibilities.
