Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations has dispatched a humanitarian cargo flight carrying over 13 tons of medical supplies to Iran using an Il-76 transport aircraft, reportedly authorized by President Vladimir Putin. The aid was transferred to Iranian officials in Azerbaijan and then transported across the border into Iran.

The delivery comes as Russia is also said to be sharing military intelligence with Tehran, while at the same time providing humanitarian assistance. This unfolds during the second week of sustained airstrikes on Iran by the United States and Israel, as the conflict continues to escalate.

BTW, when you start seeing stuff like this, the correct way to read it is that the current leadership is WEAK. And by weak, I mean they are at risk of losing their leadership position.

So they're not asking for things with the idea that it's gonna be realistic. They're sending a message "we have balls the size of grapefruit, we're gonna fight this to the last man", and that message is for the Iranian people, because wha they're actually worried about is that they're gonna get replaced.

And if they go soft for even one second, the next guys are gonna come in and grab leadership away from them, and they're gonna be EVER MORE hardline than the last guys were.

And NOBODY can stop it, not the Americans, not the Israelis, and not the Iranians. It's a socio-political equivalent of the Dr. Strangelove Doomsday Machine.
