Why the fuck can't jeets get their W sounds right? I hear them use that sound all the time, on random words spoken correctly.
I'm serious -- why? Why not learn and pronounce those words correctly, regardless of what those letters sound like elsewhere in the world? The W sound is one of the easiest sounds to mimic.

This. Asians speak Engrish because as you get older you subconsciously tune out sounds out. While someone younger can hear it clear as day. That, and the streetshitters might pick their ear with their poop hand.

Exactly, the hearing is interpretive, not absolute, and what sounds you can parse in spoken language is learned very early in life. Ergo, some Asians literally hear Rs instead of Ls. Indians, Vs instead of Ws.
