@Stahesh I completely agree, I remember a post they made on twitter about 3 yrs ago where they claim that making satire was becoming increasingly difficult because many things that they would make fun of would become true as they where making satire articles of them.

@Stahesh i will try to traslate one of them . its so niche there is no english translations of it.

best way to understand it is . imagine that western comedian instead of just having many different jokes . they role played a character for example this one a pastor / priest and its set up as if he is in a church adressing his flock . super serious but his sins occasionaly exposed. by mistake. and him brushing it off . while trying his hardest to priestly. kinda like this youtu.be/eDlK4q2I0kU

this guy seems really content and at peace with his traditional life in rural japan. Good to see someone going his own unique way.

@Stahesh

Well said. If I had my way I would lay off half of gov workers and lower taxes.

And if you're gonna have high taxes, at least fix basic shit like potholes!

Let me at least have the illusion my money is going towards something productive

Not just idealism at work, but also the additional laws and policies they advocate and vote for.

High taxes? Check.
Expansive welfare state? Check.
Gun control? Check.
LGBTABCDEFG crap? Check.
Other nanny state policies? Check.

Oh look, all shit I hate that you also want to have implemented. So when you make me choose between car dependent cities and walkable cities with a whole lot of other policies I hate, I will go with the former.

I forgot to mention crime, which no shock, these people also want to be soft on crime. No, your city planning policies will not fix crime (despite their claims) if you are not going to make sure to harshly punish these crimes.

Hey, maybe people do not want to worry that they are going to be beaten and/or mugged on public transit, so they would prefer to be safe in their own cars instead. Is that possible? Oh, you want to blame the symptoms for the problem rather than being soft on crime policy.

I'm not an anarchocapitalist so I don't think taxation is Theft.

But paying 33% of my income to a government that doesn't serve my interests while driving over potholes every day is CRIMINAL

"I will never complain about sexual harassment again"

I'll believe it when I see it. 🙄

Did it never occur to her that maybe the guys there moved there because they were INTO Asian women?

Also I call BS that no guys asked her out. I bet it's just no top 20% guys asked her out.

Typical bitch. Moves to a new country for work and all she cares about is how much attention she's getting.

Not the culture, not career opportunities, just attention.

And we let them vote

@Tfmonkey

How do I not feel resentment towards friends who are doing better then me in terms of earnings? Is it about trade offs or is there something else I'm missing

Stahesh boosted

It's more important to be not stupid than it is to be smart.

Not enough people get this.

@RodrickSage

So the reason TFM did the debate was because

1. He was lured in on false pretenses by playing with fire

2. Halsey had a good conversation with him and spoke highly of him.

I suspect Destiny knew EXACTLY who TFM was even though he pretended like he didn't and he did his best to make him look as bad as possible.

While I appreciate the restraint TFM showed, I would have LOVED to see him call destiny a dipshit commie and call out his flawed philosophy.

Sandman " the elites are pushing men into trades to lower the cost of said services "

i feel like TFM and Sandman need their own monthly show. just debating, forget Destiny, we need people with same ideas but different solution.

Destiny was a trap and am surprise the blue hair was not a red flag for TFM...
