All the #globalwarming argument is based on this diagram. However, 1. The wavelength of an EM wave changes when passing through objects, say atmosphere, ocean, or rocks. 2. Our planet's net IR absorption is an accounting problem. The diagram shows the amount of IR passing through the atmosphere, but not the IR that is reflected in day time and remitted at night. 3. The remaining IR reaches our planet's surface. Is that better than being absorbed and remitted by CO2 in the atmosphere?
