Thus is true even today.
Under UCMJ this is an Article 94 and additional charges of Article 92 and perhaps "General Article".
Gentlemen: DO NOT Enlist.
@shortstories You do not understand MPs are the authority.
They are Police, for the Military. Would you shoot a cop committing even an illegal act that endangered your own life?
These MPs are given license to use force, during time of war. It does not explicitly say that in the UCMJ but I can assure you, this is something we come to understand and talk about. Especially on deployment.
If you are going to die anyway then would you rather die in a warzone or die shooting the person who is sending you into the war zone in self defense?

discusses "accidental deaths" among military officials who were in positions to give commands and how such "accidents" were encouraged during the Vietnam war by war protestors
@shortstories The MP did not send me into a war zone.
A Suit in Washington DC did.
Same with these Men.
In that period, in history, they did not have the awareness we have today, to see past propaganda.
Yes he is an Agent of them but he has in effect has, qualified immunity; **just like cops**
I will face a dishonorable discharge and lose ALL my Rights. Just like they would; plus the shame back home.
You do not comprehend the negative consequences a Dishonorable Discharge has on your record.
The purple or blue face reminds me of Angelina Anaconda cartoon
@thatguyoverthere You argument is womanish. And off topic. Coward like yourself has never shouldered a weapon to defend anyone or anything; let alone your country. Kindly fuck off.
@thatguyoverthere Ad homonym.. typical low IQ response.
Probably 11B or some other low IQ position. You do not impress anyone here with your public school education.
Don't "go on"... Just Go.
@sardonicsmile
Who was on board to stop them from shooting the MP in self defense if he is threatening to shoot them for peacefully leaving
