The app includes three facial-analysis models for detection, alignment, and generating 2048-dimensional biometric embeddings; a local SQLite database configured with a cosine-similarity vector index; and a wired notification surface. A researcher activated the pipeline end-to-end, demonstrating that it can detect a face, search the local index, and issue a "Person recognized" notification, while unmatched faces are saved as image-and-embedding pairs in a local staging directory. On a stock, unenrolled account, the user-facing "Connections" entry point remains hidden, and no server-side population of the facial identity database was observed. The findings show the full recognition apparatus is present, internally consistent, and functional, but not currently enabled for ordinary users.
