Since the website no longer evaluates results, what do you think? Is this a good based to cringe ranking? A few notes may be in order.

AoT was an easy top pick. The series is an extended metaphor for the plight of the White and/or Japanese races, with a Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade morality, part Himmler, part Spengler. NGE is, at the most fundamental level, about finding a place in the world, primarily for Rei. Overcoming the utopian Human Instrumentality tyranny is only a means to an end, the world as “living space” for the Rei type. This is not fully realized in the TV ending or Rebuild films, but does happen in End of Evangelion.

NHK is perhaps the most relatable and real-life series out there, which makes drama of overcoming actual single male problems, and identifies their true source while discounting false solutions.

They should be able to tell each at least likes the other enough that asking out won‘t harm thngs. The supporting cast (AND THE FANSERVICE EPISODE!) are more based though.

Bocchi is inexplicably afraid of showing off her talent even though she should be able to know she is genuinely talented. It is hard to think she deserves her success when most of it comes thanks to the initiative of others.

Jujustu Kaisen? Even going back to my posts on it from nearly three years ago, I still have no sense. Was there really anything at stake at all? All I can remember were pointless fights and characters selling and buying ridiculous sob stories.

Puella Magi Madoka Magika is “the world according to Holocaust theology”. Everything you thought was beautiful, noble? Just a sham. This is the world as those who prefer the black pill to the white want to see it. Disenchantment fetishism.
