I think we should treat much of American #Evangelical #Christianity as a #CargoCult, and call them out as such instead of assuming they are actually based on the teachings of #JesusChrist .
After all, they seem to believe that as long as they say the right magic words, they are going to be "saved". And then anything they say or do - no matter how vile - will be justified. After all, _they_ are saved, and _you_ are not.
Trappings over substance - that's pretty much the definition of a cargo cult, isn't it?
Christianity's greatest strength is that Truth is absolute and divine (dishonesty is defiance against God himself), and that there are no permanent enemies. Great for most scientific and technological progress, and superior cooperation. And like all long lasting religions, real Christianity is extremely patriarchal (no women's rights).
Christianity's greatest weakness however, is charity for niggers.

Finished reading a book I expected I would not like, did not like, but felt driven to read, and learned a few things from—albeit chiefly the depth of my disdain for the author. I speak of Origins of Christianity, by Revilo P. Oliver (1994, this edition 2001). Prof. Oliver‘s writings and worldview are incessantly promoted on Gab and elsewhere by a certain breed of White racialist, whose fixation on religion becomes such that one is liable to forget the plight of the Whites.

Christianity’s strengths & current weaknesses:
Christianity beat paganism, because Christianity teaches that there’s no permanent enemies. Christian Romans and Christian Vikings had better cooperation than their pagan counterparts.
Christianity also beat paganism, because paganism requires a pre-existing patriarchy (a pagan must know his father, and his father’s line). So if women get emancipated in the slightest, paganism can’t reset back to patriarchy, because fatherless men make for bad pagans. Christianity has scripture explicitly establishing strict patriarchy with men having total dominance over women, no matter what age or era:
“1 Corinthians 13:34 ‘34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.’” “1 Timothy 2:11-12 ‘11Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.’”
So why do simps and whiteknights dominate modern Christian churches? Why are there simping tradcucks in high places on some “based” fedi instances, despite being supposedly based?
Answer: Christianity has no enforcement mechanism against simps. There’s no “thou shalt slay any simp or whiteknight” in Christianity.
