Earliest launch date for IFT-9 is NET May 20, 2025. Ship 35 will be the 3rd V2 Starship upper stage to attempt orbital velocity and landing in the Indian Ocean. Booster 14 will be the 1st Starship booster to attempt reuse, it previously flew on #IFT7.
IFT-9 may launch as soon as Monday May 19th between 6:30 pm and 8:34 pm CST. Ship 35 will attempt re-entry and landing in the Indian Ocean during local morning. This will be the 1st reuse attempt of Starship Booster 14, which previously flew on #IFT7 January 16, 2025, 4:37 pm CST.

This is Booster 14 falling away after stage separation during IFT-7. Booster 14 successfully RTLS and landed back at its own launch tower.
B14 is scheduled to launch again during the upcoming IFT-9 orbital velocity test flight. Booster 14 is going to test a new angle of attack for landing, so it will do a water landing this time.
