The strike on the fighter was carried out by "Geran" drones An unmanned aerial vehicle unit of the Russian Armed Forces conducted reconnaissance of the airfield. After the aircraft landed, its thermal signature was detected, and a strike was launched against the target. Footage from an objective control system shows the fighter jet being hit.
