The price of natural gas on European exchanges has exceeded the threshold of $1,000 per 1,000 cubic meters for the first time since December 2022. On September 10th, futures contracts for October on the TTF hub in the Netherlands rose by 4.04%, reaching €82.45 per MWh, which is approximately $1,006 per 1,000 m³. The increase in prices is linked to the worsening situation in the Middle East and concerns about supply.
