prepubescent boys shun out girls because they are annoying, weak, brittle, boring. boys are adventurous, they do things, explore places, build stuff. parents always have to force boys to take girls into their groups so girls do not feel left out. once boys hit puberty, they become interested in girls. i think the trauma of growing up like this, from girl's POV, is the reason they hate men for the rest of their life. childhood forms us the most and growing up being constantly rejected takes toll
