But it makes perfect sense when you think about it. It is all due to hypergamy.
Women want a man that is higher than they are. If they don’t work they are happy with an everyday salaryman.
But if they do work then they want a man of a superior station. A businessman, a doctor, a lawyer, a rich entrepreneur.
This causes the devaluation of everyday men. They fall back on prostitution, the demand explodes, the price skyrocket.
