@suquili @Momther Anime is good through season 2 I think. Lots of filler slop and animation quality is meh later on. Manga gets better over time until the end when kubo got rushed. At that point you’ll not care because you’ll want to see what happens or quit reading way before. The OVAs are all pretty.

@BowsacNoodle @Momther I rewatch all of DBZ (the original version, filler and all) every few years. I'm sure I'll be able to tolerate it

Had to stop as soon as Buu showed up. It just got too silly at that point

did you stop when gohan was pretending to be a super hero or literally when buu himself showed up?

When Buu turned someone into candy was the moment I turned it off and have never watched an episode since. Android and Cell saga were peak to me though

@sulaco @Momther @BowsacNoodle It actually gets a little more serious right after that. The parts with Gotenks can drive you nuts but overall it gets kinda dark and high stakes (for what it is at least. dbz is always kinda sloppily made).
