@Rasterman snes bing bing wahoo is fine with me
the jews really thought they were capturing something important with this marxist vector of attack

@dictatordave So many titles still unexplored. If you include ROM-hacks, it’s just nearly unlimited.

@Rasterman admittedly there's a lot of shit, but there's a mountain and its not the 90s anymore, shits so free and easy to find

i dont want to even think about the money i was bilked out of by consumer propaganda
@Suzu @Rasterman you guys got any favorites right now? anything that's been a shocker of a good game?
@dictatordave @Rasterman it's been a very long time since I've played any SNES games, TBH, so let me see if my memory doesn't fail me.

Besides the very common "best SNES games" that you'll find in every top 10 list, I really enjoy:

Kirby's Dream Course - Basically Kirby golf

Biker Mice from Mars - Plays almost like Rock'n Roll Racing, but you can't change cars, each "car" is a character from the cartoon series with it's own movement and weapons, really fun

Ardy Lightfoot - It's a surprisingly good platformer game

Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow - Anoher very good platformer

Doom Troopers - Run and gun platformer kinda like Contra, with lots of gore and cool ways to kill enemies, which is insane for a SNES game

EVO - Search for Eden - It's a platformer game where you start as a fish and keeps evolving, you can choose your mutations and get a few branching paths. Pretty deep for a SNES game.

Tales of Phantasia - You'll need to find a translation romhack because this one is Japan-only, but it is IMO the best JRPG on the SNES (yes, better than FF6 and Chrono Trigger).

@Suzu @dictatordave Out of those I only really played EVO. It was great. The whole thing with the “secret” evolution towards the end of the game was fantastic.

Taking notes of the rest.

@Rasterman @Suzu if you guys find anything cool let me know
i'm this close to going all the way back to og game boy for some kid Icarus

@dictatordave @Rasterman @Suzu UFO 50 has a bunch of retro style games. My personal favorite is warptank.

@Rasterman @RegalBeagle @Suzu i can't recommend the armored core series more, the first two for psx are so rad, its one of those games that just let you do your thing with some guard rails but its tip top stuff
