Has anyone tried those stainless steel ice cubes? Do they taste funny in the drink? I mean to they affect the drinks taste?

@Kalogerosstilitis2RevengeoftheJunta They're shit. Most of the cooling effect ice has on beverages is actually from the phase change from solid ice to liquid water.

Scotch/whiskey snobs don't like others having fun. Drink your booze however you like and screw the haters.
I toured a place that made custom ice cubes for high-end bars. They were spherical and had the bar name etched into them. $50 apiece.

They guy who worked there was dressed up like the Chinese eye engineer in "Blade Runner."
The taste I love in Glenfiddich doesn't dilute very much at all. I just end up with more of it.
