@reallyangry There's a few Linux distros that are more focused towards gaming. I learned the other day that SteamOS ha actually been unsupported for almost 6 years.
@reallyangry I've just cobbled together a vanilla Arch build and it's been working pretty well for the last year or so. Only issues I have are Rocksmith 2014 and certain games that uses Bepinix for loading mods.
I'll check out Garuda. Arch is maintained by a bunch of degens these days, so a replacement may be in order soon.
@reallyangry Doesn't sound so bad to switch. I'm already running of the zen kernel anyways. Was the first kernel I found that had proper ALSA support. I'm not smart enough to audio working properly at that level.
@reallyangry Through manners of dark sorcery, I've gotten ALSA and pipewire to co-exist as long as no device is being used by both at the same time.
so i had a dual boot running, then i cloned it over to the t1b ssd and deleted the hdd and put that in another computer
i recently put in a 120gb nvme drive and a 1tb nvme drive in the main pc, then reinstalled garuda onto the 120 nvme and made the 1tb nvme my home drive, then i used rsycn to move all my files from the other hard drive that i mounted inside another computer have here and rebooted and the computer has allt he settings i had all my files and stuff just work, it's pretty amazing tbh.
