The God Who Wasn't There was very good and the actual Sam Harris was in that. I regard it as an essential companion piece to The Jesus Mysteries book by Freke and Dandy. Just finished watching Midnight Mass by Mike Flanagan (Netflix 7 part series). Well worth checking out - excellent performance by Hamish Linklater and Samantha Sloyan. Shows how 'scripture' can be used to justify just about anything. But again a few 'woke' elements crowbarred particularly at the end.

People of the God, God of the People, religion is the oldest survival handbook we miraculously inherited over millennia and it still holds merit. Sparing the mythos, the allegories and truths in there are as solid as ever.
