If our universe all started from a singular point infinitely small, then how come it was a big bang?

Shouldn't it have been a black hole ?

If this singular point had the contents of 2 trillion galaxies in it, then that would be just a big black hole. And black holes don't blow up, their gravity is so strong not even light can break out of it.

Educate me on where I'm wrong.

@ArmchairEconomist01 I believe you’re right; a massive black hole that had so much energy and potential it could not sustain itself and reached a point where the only direction was out.
