I think I need a stronger Christan to explain this weekend for me.

Last night, a tornado killed two children and an adult yet my home was spared.

Today, an evil person was stopped from ruining a Church Service in the USA yet in Syria - dozens died due to an evil person.

Am I just supposed to count my own blessings and move on or should I demand more?

@SIC_Guy Always count your blessings and never demand what isn’t earned. As Christians, we recognize that we don’t deserve anything by default—everything must be built and earned through effort and grace. Yet everyone should have the opportunity to build and earn, and that opportunity can only come through strong, supportive communities.

@TenaciousGoat I guess I'm just confused, haven't been a very good Christian since college and watching people who I thought were good stab 'friends' in the back for petty things...

...I think I've been broken since 2004.

@SIC_Guy I’m sorry to hear that you think you’re broken. I think you feel betrayed by people who you thought were going to support you through thick and thin. You can always build another you with a new community-Start a new chapter, just take small steps; direction is more important than speed.

@TenaciousGoat At one point, I wanted to be the "Rush Limbaugh of Video Games".

I got told to get a "real job" and to "change the subject" when talking about things that interested me.

Now? My interests are infested with awful people and I slowly start to hate it all.

@SIC_Guy Alright, work on figuring that out first. As you build yourself, your environment will reflect the new person you’re becoming.
