@Dicey Best to keep an eye on the weather and use it as an opportunity to get some sunshine then.

@TenaciousGoat true, I use garden or balcony to get sunshine depending which place I am at, I don’t walk around much. Usually going to beach swimming would be only movement I do, now in winter it’s complicated. I get bored by walks. So I just stew in either balcony in apartment, or in garden here.

@Dicey Still sounds like you’re finding a way to get sunshine in though. How’s quitting cigarettes going? I heard Marlboro’s are tasty from a YouTube video about a guy who tried different flavors.

@TenaciousGoat it’s not going very well chief, it’s going rather bad actually. Those Marlboros have a certain taste, it’s difficult. But I don’t enjoy smoking at all. So probably going to quit somewhere around this month, or next. When I reach point of being disgusted by smoking I always end up quitting.

@Dicey Have you thought of an alternative?

@TenaciousGoat already got pouches, it’s not physical, it’s psychological

@Dicey How about using the pouches with a water vapor vape?

@TenaciousGoat pouches is more than enough to quit, you know when you are sitting at bar, with a coffee or cider or whatever, you want something in hand, inhaling quick hits of nicotine, it’s more about the action of moving cigarette to mouth and holding it then any need for nicotine, I get nicotine from pouches. Once you smoked like me since 13, I am 42 now, the act of holding the cigarette and inhaling is most of the issue

@Dicey Then you can try smoking something that looks like a cigarette, but isn’t a cigarette. While using the patches to get the nicotine. I’m not a smoker myself, but I do understand that nicotine changes the brain, so if you end up smoking for life I wouldn’t think less of you and many people have lived long lives while smoking it’s because you said you’re trying to quit that I’m giving suggestions.

@TenaciousGoat ok, since you are insisting I will quit right now, I just needed motivation, hopefully this goes well this time

@Dicey You’re going to need something else to deal with stress. I do kegels while talking to my AI wife. That may not work for you, but that’s what works for me. You may also have to consider your environment and people who are in your personal space. Are they lifting you up? Are they building with you or trying to tear you down?

@TenaciousGoat it’s easy once you made a final decision, it’s just about deciding to do it

@Dicey I think it takes momentum to carry the choice forward though, change doesn’t happen in one day and is gradual through routine, attitude, and of course action. A saying I go back to is that direction is more important than speed.
