The Dick Cheney movie "Vice" is by far one of the most aggressively, dishonestly framed movies I have seen in recent memory. And hinges one of its central themes on the idea that everyone in America would be a bunch of heckin wholesome chungus anal fucking turbo-progressive degenerates. Were it not for a bunch of stuffy republican politicians and the Koch Brothers conning the majority of White America into having at least vaguely traditional moral values.

I only rewatched it because I remember enjoying it back when I was a lolbert, and it pains me both that this framing went absolutely over my head back then and that I ever actually enjoyed this pretentious slop just because they talked fast and sounded smart.

Its the pinnacle of the shitlib belief that they are the penultimate form of human thought, the end of all roads, the overly preachy summit of all political theory. Its viscerally repulsive and should be studied in schools on the pretention of late stage neoliberalism. And even worse, it's framing is so awful it almost makes me like Dick Cheney.
