When I read this, my first reaction was "fuck Biden" but then I looked around and it doesn't really seem like the Cuban Missile Crisis in the streets.
During the CMC, average people were too scared to sleep. Churches hosted round-the-clock confession booths, and the lines for them were out the door.
Today, I don't see a lot of people scared about nuclear war in their day-to-day lives, whether or not they should be.

@fatepony FYI, Just like the Cuban missile crisis, we started this mess, before the CMC we put nukes in Turkey in 1959, which is why soviets did the same in Cuba, but it's only ok when we do it. The US pushed a coup in Ukraine and installed a puppet in 2014, which is against UN treaties and international agreements, but it's only ok when we do it. How many soverign countries has the US invaded or had a "military action" against? Too many to count at this point, but it's only ok when we do it...
