Dozens of American soldiers were injured, and several helicopters were damaged as a result of a series of Iranian attacks on U.S. bases in Jordan. According to The New York Times, the attack, which resulted in the deaths of two American soldiers and the disappearance of another on July 18th, was the fourth in the past five days. Sources claim that some of the Iranian missiles were intercepted, but at least one managed to bypass the air defense system.
