Yeah, when you get down to it, saying "white culture" is like saying "asian culture".

I remember (but can't find) a comic with British, French and Belgian colonists. The British were squeezing the native in a press making gold pop out, while dumping whiskey in his mouth and reading him the bible. The French were having a date with the native, and the Belgians were cooking the native over a fire.

However, I think "win at all costs" is just flat wrong. All Europeans have a complex moral balance between rules, fairness, deference, and competition.

I think the issue with British rule is hyper-legalism, rule based rule. British systems tend to dispense with the politics of context. Even exceptions are hyper-legal. A brit will follow a rule even if it's dumb in the given situation.

The irony here of course is the hyper-legal nature of the instituted solutions, e.g. "civil rights laws".

Other cultures give more leeway to context, but that's typically left to the politics of the situation and the parties. Here ironically, the left wants to insert context into law / court process, which is still very British.

@cjd @Humpleupagus Have you also noticed that one of the traits is: "no tolerance for deviation from a single god concept"... yet the authors have even less tolerance for deviation from the "equality" idea 😋.

French are generally considered White, and the French Revolution more or less invented modern atheism.

Now atheism can be seen as an offshoot of monotheism, but only in terms of cultural norms, not actually believing in a man in the sky.
