i don't get how usa proclaims to be the best country in the world, yet there is no such thing is national id. so illegal workers or anonymous voters are a thing. makes no sense to the european mind.
@Zeb nowhere is. but it's mostly just an identification card with your birth id(from your birth certificate). paradoxically, i have learnt that national card is is not your national id, your passport is. national card is closer to permanent residency card more than anything.
