In Dubai, I can walk to the supermarket at 1:30am by myself and feel completely safe. In my own hometown in Spain, I can’t leave the house after dark because the streets are filled with unscrupulous migrants who rape women & steal from people. How is it that the East has now become safer than the West? How can a Spanish girl feel safer in the UAE than in her own country?
