If you are thinking about escaping the west, do not go to SEA. The culture, laws and customs are way too exotic, no matter how much the youtubers want to sugarcoat it. Latin America, with all its problems, will always be a better choice.

@Zeb supposedly the southern part of Brazil is very white and Brazil is in BRICS, so it is worth considering.
