All scam tech like fusion and quantum computing has to be in space because space itself can be easily faked. Nobody is up there to audit anything.

Space hasn't been confirmed that itself isn't fake.
Scientifically it checks out, but it might be confirmation bias. I hate that I can't trust anything at face value anymore since there are so many lies out there.
@chromeratt @Zeb By faking space, I meant it is possible for private equity to say they have this or that up there, but no one can audit it, because it creates to verifiable value.
e.g. computing can be done on earth, and just tell the investors it came from space. Or make energy here, and just say it was beamed down from space.
