the PM of Greenland is telling people to prepare for possible invasion

"Greenland’s government will form a task force consisting of representatives of all relevant local authorities to help people prepare for any disruptions to daily life, Nielsen said. The government is working on distributing new guidelines to the population, including a recommendation to have enough food for five days stored in their homes."

@Zeb Euros lived there for over a thousand years (first settlements established 985 AD by Erik the Red). They don't want their entire history and culture erased after becoming the 51st state.

@Terry @Zeb but according to the way of the world, if you can't defend something, you don't own it. so denmark can either make greenland well defended or it will get taken by someone else either way

from what i've heard russia and china are looking at greenland as a strategic weakness to the US, and hence trump wants to take it before they do

about the history and culture, yes i agree but being part of the US doesnt guarantee for these things to be destroyed. the amish prove this to be the case. so on some level, the people of greenland/denmark have themselves to blame too if they weren't prepared to defend the land or if they allow degenerate culture to be mainstream
