True. But Greenland is more similar to Alaska than Minnesota, specially since they're both along the artic.
So the political alignment is kind of similar to Alaska since you can't be a leftist where nature is actually dangerous.
minnesota has deadly winters too. can you find harsher environments in alaska than minnesota? probably because of all the mountains, but i don't think anyone actually lives there. but it still drops well below 0f during your average winter
