from what i've heard russia and china are looking at greenland as a strategic weakness to the US, and hence trump wants to take it before they do
about the history and culture, yes i agree but being part of the US doesnt guarantee for these things to be destroyed. the amish prove this to be the case. so on some level, the people of greenland/denmark have themselves to blame too if they weren't prepared to defend the land or if they allow degenerate culture to be mainstream
