the people i see on here putting "nazi" labels on everything now are the very same people who were calling for people to be put into camps for not getting injections and for granny getting the last visit through a zoom call.

no sympathy for the devil.

@bonifartius Hardest pill for me to swallow was the realization that like 99% of people are unprincipled hypocrites

@scathach it's hard not to be one. some things just hook into the tribal monkey brain and then one acts that way. i try to be principled, but it's hard some times and of course i fail [insert something religious]. at least being aware of this does help massively though.

it's incredibly frustating though that almost everyone else just doesn't care at all. feeling physically well is enough. could as well put 'em on soma, two minutes hate and a breeding program.

@bonifartius @scathach I operate on assumption that human nature operates in a way that large amounts of people would throw you under a train, sacrifice you, if it benefits them. Having this in mind it's much easier to navigate the world.

For sure, biologically, at least 50% would do it without hesitating or thinking about it at all.
The other 50% see you as direct competition so unless you have clear terms and beneficial goals to build up cooperation, that's a wise approach.
