Not really. IQ has severely increased in the last centuries so, if you consider how stupid people are today. They used to be much worse.
Slavery was the only way to make such humans productive at all since even the concept of money or good work eluded them.
When a society couldn't be enslaved or used back then, they were just killed off.
I agree, I support slavery. We've been doing it since forever.
It's the Flynn Effect, although before that human nature is by default eugenic since smarter men per capita don't die as much as dumb men and women select for resources and survival genetic markers of living men.

What evidence do you have that IQ has increased? That is contrary to all my studies.
And what is wrong with slavery? Slaves of the past lived better than today's debt slaves. They did not stress about losing their jobs or paying bills. They also had families of several children.
