To be fair, that's how EVERY negotiation in diplomacy works.
The difference this time around is the US lost and is on the weak position, so they get punished when they don't follow what they signed.

Iran is being extremely smart by humilitiating and letting everyone see how weak the US is and how the problem is israel. The longer this goes, the more obvious to all and higher the chance the jews launch a desperate attack.
