Its the mental health issues that they have. My wife was heavily verbally abused and used as a maid so she has trouble doing basic shit around the house sometimes due to ptsd attacks to this day. She works through it but its a right pain in the ass some days telling her to be an adult and do the dishes because if I do them then it means she is a failure but she is all fucked in the head that day and cant do them. Granted this was a decade ago and she is much better but some days holy shit.
