The right time to fix this problem was a few decades ago, but there's still time to solve the problem.
You just need harsher more drastics measures now. The clock is ticking.

@Zeb @cjd @Bernard The western Canadian province of Alberta has something of an independence movement that is still finding its feet. There is a lot involved, of course, for that to ever happen.

But there is a large push back from some within Alberta and Canadians in general against this ever happening. Loss of resources, loss of face, issues with the feather indians. Just the very idea of Canada breaking up.

Here's an article and image from a recent "Forever Canada" event in Alberta arguing against breakup.

Just look at the people there and their faces. Just look at them. JFC.

From a surface analysis, I see two, maybe 3 net tax payers that adds more to society than they take away from it.
I would assume those net tax payers benefit from keeping Canada together because it's either beneficial to their business or are gov contractors, so that's why they're there.

The rest are takers who are simply afraid their welfare and government benefits will be cut, plus a few useless eaters.

Now, how do the separatists look like? Are they more capable?

@Zeb @Bernard @cjd They are predominantly White, rural and self employed. Generally Heritage Canadians with regional roots going back generations. Because of the recent influx of younger "new canadians" in the last decade or two, who are strongly federalist and against separation, this pushes the number of retirees, boomers and genX higher as proportion. But it's still strong among younger genuine Canadians.

It's what you would expect.

Then the government is doing exactly what I would do in their place:
Fear monger on tv, crackdown on anyone with ideas in the cities, ignore the young heritage male canadians but don't antagonize them, not really.
As long as their lifes are not inconvenienced enough, they won't do anything.

Which is ironic, if the leeches turn violent and attack the white rural men, they will cause their own downfall. The gov has to keep them on a tight leash.
