Depends on what kind of production they're working on. In many production sites, headphones are mandatory PPEs.
@Zeb Well ear plugs/muffs are. Which is completely understandable and I always protect my hearing. but bone conduction headphones allow you to still hear what’s going on around you since they’re not in the ear so including that in the list is probably some office asshole making a retarded decision out of spite
