Josep Borrell called the temperature in apartments above +18° a departure from European values.
"We are faced with a choice between freedom and comfort. We have talked a lot about the willingness to die for the ideals of democracy, it's time to prove it."
Paintings by Brueghel the Elder and Hieronymus Bosch are also European values. Obviously, Borrell proposes to return to the horrors of the Middle Ages for the sake of an illusory democracy.

Nah, we'll just kill six billion or so people and we can keep the standard of living for a 10% elite of the new society. Retain some mobility from the slave class to replace old blood but mostly lock them in pods and VR depending on their profession.
