Built a little #browser #extension today that sets the opacity of each paragraph's text to the confidence of a #generative #AI detector model that the paragraph is human-generated. AKA AI Noise-cancelling headphones for the internet.

It's running on a tiny instance, so it's not too fast, but pretty funny watching paragraphs of news sites fade away.
Today I learned about the transition CSS property, and was able to make my extension more smoothly fade out the AI-generated text!

I'll be writing a short blog post on this soon and release the source for anyone else interested in filtering out AI-generated noise from their browsing experience.
That news story is about an AI generator writing a news story, so the vast majority of the article is a direct copy/paste of ChatGPTs output
