It kinda seems like every few years archeologists rediscover the secret to roman concrete.

Seems like the conclusion is always "not economically viable" which really says something about the modern world.

I mean... it's not like every structure the Roman's built was designed to last a thousand years, there's a lot of survivor's bias at work there.

I think it's valid to build an apartment building with OPC and say "that's designed to last ~70 years".
