Despite concerns across the NHS about using Palantir to deal with confidential records, it now looks like the Police in London (hardly a trusted institution in the first place) are looking to contract with Palantir for AI to 'aid' criminal investigations...
Given the rubbish-in-rubbish-out character of such work, introducing AI of a particularly contentious sort seems likely to compound mistrust of the capital's police force, solidifying police prejudice(s).

@ChrisMayLA6 Oh, this is easy to explain. The swedish police are using palantir, and refuse to say for what. I imagine that the UK and Swedish police probably have some kind of informal network, and that swedish police acted as palantir salesmen.
