by now it seems most fediverse orgs are just more and more convoluted ways to syphon off EU money (a noble goal that i fully support).

@lain This is the truth. But a downside of this, is that a lot of open source projects are very, very socialist and woke. That means, there's a huge amount of conservative, libertarian and christian technologists who won't take part, which is a huge loss for the fediverse and open source.

I agree that siphoning off EU money is good... we must drain the beast, but not at the price of being woke and socialist.

That is why I say "no" to the linux foundation whenever they ask me to help them

Or rather, I say, yes, I can help you but I won't sign any code of conduct or anything that leads to more admin for me. Then they always stop asking, and I am happy that way.

@mansalia @lain It means that only people agreeing with those ideologies are allowed to contribute, and deviants and apostates are hounded, insulted, blocked, doxed etc.
