The Iran War has illustrated the flaws and limitations of the F-35 as a weapons platform. The incident when one got hit by an Iranian missile has destroyed its untouchable reputation.

It's also interesting that there have been multiple cases of F-35 pilots declaring emergencies in flight lately.

There will be more F-35-related disasters in the future.

Personally, I don't envy those who fly them. They seem like cursed aircraft at this point.
The F35 is maintenance intensive. Very intensive. Af leadership expects the grunts who actually maintain these pigs to have a quick turnaround for the next flight or fix them immediately-or else. The MX guys are burned out working 18hr shifts every day. Parts are not readily available and having to cannibalise off other F35's. I had to deal with the same thing to keep one helo flying while stealing parts off the other two. The mission comes first.

I think these pigs are having serious mechanical problems (also getting shrapnel hits).
Apparently both the F-35 and F-22 need to have their stealth coatings reapplied after every sortie or they lose most of their stealth capability.
