Having lived 3-years in Germany shortly after Vietnam and during the Cold War, I assure you it was a very different place than today. In 1976 one didn't need to lock their doors at night, that was optional and women didn't need to fear gangs of military-aged third-world migrants that see them as hapless fodder for their sexual amusement.
Germany's decline began during Angela Merkel's reign, and has been on a steady suicide mission ever since. Now der Führer Merz is completing Angie's objectives by supporting the unelected dictator - the usurper Volodymyr Zelensky in his fruitless quest of strategically defeating the world's largest nuclear superpower, Russia.
The cost of "Punishing Putin" and supporting the Kiev regime is incalculable - not only the cost of Russo-Ukrainian lives but European mercenaries as well. Berlin and Brussels see sanctioning Russia like it's Christmas every day. These sanctions have caused a massive energy crisis just as Germany was in the process of being rhe most productive country in the European Union.
Now Spain's economy dominates the EU as we see German might buckle under the weight of its political arrogance. Berlin's arrogant attitude, supported by the Bullies in Brussels includes "punishing" ordinary citizens for expressing their dissatisfaction, thus destroying democracy and Free Speech in the process.

@Originalbadbob I went to Berlin a year ago and I saw a lot of negroes and arabians. It was not so good.
If germany as a whole, is as bad as Berlin, then it seems like Germany is worse than Sweden.
Very unfortunately Germany isn't safe anywhere and trans/gay people flee the oppressive United States for places like Germany and the Netherlands, find that they are victims of radical Islam. Europe isn't safe.
